Dorking Wanderers Football Club

Ground grading developments are completed at Meadowbank with a combination of seated and terraced stands, as Dorking move into the National League South and once again choose Stadium Solutions to supply and install high quality ground upgrades, perfectly reflecting their new position and enabling their next exciting chapter to start.

Our seating and standing units were introduced to the Meadowbank Stadium to enhance the club’s facilities of as the club’s fanbase and match-day attendances continued to grow. In 2018/2019 Groundtastic Football Grounds Magazine awarded Dorking Wanderers recognition for their display of imagination and innovation when building their new stands and stadiums. Our stand was recognised for being attractively finished, well evaluated and giving an excellent vantage point to spectators

Opinions about the revamped Meadowbank Stadium have been universally positive, and it gives us great pleasure to have played our part on their rapidly evolving journey.

We are delighted to showcase the exceptional spectator stands we have built for Dorking Wanderers which truly signify the club they have become and wish to thrive as in the future.We spent much time discussing and planning with the board members how to best to achieve their vision and satisfy the club, the council and their community.

Dorking now offers a fantastic "Family Stand" experience, right by the players tunnel, and a new covered standing terrace for the ultimate football atmosphere within their superbly upgraded ground.

Project Scope

We faced a few challenges in terms of construction due to community buildings tight behind the build areas, and lack of access. We could only build from one end out, so the installation phase had to be carefully planned and orchestrated. With all our lightweight stands being delivered in piecemeal we could avoid cranes and hired-in plant over the pitch, and instead used the walkway to the front of the terraced stand for our team to build from. It is imperative that we cause minimum disruption and no damage to our clients existing facilities and we can always guarantee that, as long as we can walk to where we are building, we can erect a stand.
