It provides a great alternative to natural grass yet meets all the FA, FIFA, Sport England accreditations as well as other sport governing bodies in the UK. The artificial grass technology of Third Generation, and now 4G and 5G pitches has improved significantly over recent years from the early days. Artificial Pitches provide a great alternative to natural grass yet meets all the FIFA, Sport England accreditations, as well as other sport governing bodies in the UK.
As an all-weather alternative to natural grass, 3G, 4G and 5G pitch surfaces are more durable and require considerably less maintenance which is why they are becoming increasingly popular. They can be used for competitive matches and tournaments where inclement weather would otherwise make playing on waterlogged natural grass facilities prohibitive. Artificial Pitches are a great all-weather surface that is also easy to maintain.
An engineered or dynamic porous sub-base is used, which provides a solid foundation for the artificial surface. This base and surface can be tailored for the primary sport or activity that the pitch will be used for, for example: football, rugby, hockey or other recreational sports. The pile is normally supported by additional base layers of sand and an infill of rubber crumb or other materials.

We purchased a new turnstile unit from Stadium Solutions in February 2014. We are pleased with the product and the installation team made it very easy to commission before use.
